How can Stake offer Cash Back for free?

Stake has listing agreements with nearly every apartment community in Texas. Those communities pay us a referral fee when we send them a renter. That’s how the service stays free for you. You get personalized help from a Stake agent. When you visit a community and list Stake as your referral source, we earn a commission. We share a portion of that commission with you as Cash Back, deposited into your Stake Account.

Why does Stake have more listings than other sites?

Most rental sites charge expensive advertising fees. Most apartments choose not to list with them. It is free for apartments to advertise on our site. We only get paid when a renter signs a lease and lists Stake as their referral source. That model means more communities list with us. How do I qualify for Cash Back?

You must have found the apartment community through Stake. Search listings on our website or let a Stake agent do the searching for you. When visiting communities, list Stake as your referral source on all guest cards and rental applications. Let your agent know as soon as you submit an application. We will verify your information and confirm your Cash Back which will be deposited into your Stake Account.
