Located to the north of downtown Dallas the Telecom Corridor is a well known part of Dallas that is home to hundreds of large corporations as well as dozens of residential neighborhoods. As the name implies the Telecom Corridor is home primarily to telecom companies and similar businesses in the same industry; as more and more companies began moving into the Telecom Corridor it began to expand rapidly into what it has become today. Currently there are literally hundreds of companies from various parts of the telecom industry based in the Telecom Corridor and it is still expanding as well.
Obviously since there is such a dense concentration of companies and businesses all of the employees have to live somewhere. Fortunately the Telecom Corridor and surrounding areas are filled with dozens of very nice residential neighborhoods that offer plenty of housing and rental properties. Each neighborhood is obviously different but in general the residential parts of the Telecom Corridor offer a variety of home sizes ranging anywhere from large homes to single bedroom apartments. Overall the Telecom Corridor has really done a great job of adapting into a residential and commercial district all in one; this is part of why so many major corporations continue moving into the Telecom Corridor year after year.
No matter what part of Dallas you plan to work in the Telecom Corridor will likely be just a short drive down the interstate. Obviously the best possible scenario would be if you worked directly in the Telecom Corridor; in this case it is definitely a good idea to consider living in the Telecom Corridor simply due to the convenience and easy access. Take a look at some of the various properties available in the Telecom Corridor and see if any of them match your needs; odds are you will find that there is something that has everything you need. Even if you work in downtown Dallas of Fort Worth it will only take 15 to 20 minutes to commute to work so the Telecom Corridor is a great place to live for those who work in basically any part of the metro area. Of course if you want to live close to where you work it might be a better option to consider some of the downtown residential neighborhoods that you will find in Dallas and Fort Worth; they are significant more convenient simply because they are in fact part of the city.
