About Galveston University
The Galveston University apartments are located on Pelican Island, just a short distance from Texas A&M University at Galveston. The apartments are ideal for students interested in living close to campus and attractions such as Pleasure Pier and downtown Galveston. Foodies only have to drive a short distance to arrive at some of the city's top seafood restaurants.
The apartment community serves as both a dorm and apartment community for the university. Students at different levels in their education live within the community. The community has also housed international students from El Salvador, China, the Czech Republic, Romania, England, India and a number of other countries.
Students can choose from a range of floor plans and residences. Furnished rooms come with electricity, Internet service, satellite TV, transportation and grocery store trips. The apartment community also offers airport transportation services. The apartment community sits next door to a grocery store with an ATM and gas station and a restaurant with Mexican and American fare. Apartments range in size from one to four bedrooms and from one to two bathrooms.
