Named by CQ Press as the second safest city in Texas (population of 100,000) Round Rock is an entity which has recently become a rapidly expanding force. Residents are attracted to the area in large part because of its location, development, and accolades. Interstate 35 is the major highway that runs through Round Rock and provides the quickest path to Austin, an approximately 30 minute drive south.

Round Rock is world famous for its "orange donuts,: which Round Rock Donuts started producing in 1926. As an addition to their smaller counterparts, Round Rock Donuts has also created the Texas Donut (which features the same amount of dough as a dozen of regular donuts). These gems have been featured on the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Today Show. With publicity like that, this place is not something to miss.
