UMoveFree Apartment Locators is a relocation company offering a searchable database of Dallas apartments,
Fort Worth apartments, Austin apartments, and Houston apartments, so we do not have pages of fine
print outlining ways we can avoid doing what we advertise.
Instead, simply meet the qualifications below and U Move Free ... Period.
Qualification Guidelines:
You must not have learned of the property before registering with UMoveFree.
You must lease a property listed in our apartment-locating database or a property referred to you by one of our licensed agents.
You must notify your agent prior to visiting communities, so that in the event a community requires pre-registration, our agent is capable of fulfilling this requirement.
You must list UMoveFree on the Guest card and Rental Application. This must be done in order to be eligible for either the Free Move offer or the Cash Rebate.
UMoveFree only allows 1 move or cash rebate per apartment.
You must not be moving from a sister property.
You must have never before lived in the community where you lease.
You must not be transferring (on-site transfer) from within the same property.
You must sign at least a 6-month lease to be eligible for the free move or rebate offer. Leases shorter than six months may be eligible for a reduced cash back rebate or reduced moving credit.
If the referral fee from the participating community is below our minimum requirements, then we reserve the right to offer a reduced cash rebate or a reduced move credit/move offer in place of our full free move/full rebate offer.
Your rental rate must be at least $600.00 (if less than $600.00 you will be eligible for a reduced cash back rebate or a reduced moving credit/free move offer). *Your rental rate is the effective average rent.
Third Party Data:
The apartment data that UMoveFree provides its customers is supplied
and updated by a third party data provider.
This includes all rental information, specials, availability, and
all other community data that is made available to customers through
our website and/or agent assistance.
Although UMoveFree makes reasonable efforts to ensure this data
is updated regularly, we cannot and do not claim to guarantee the
accuracy of this data.
Non-payment by property:
Customer acknowledges that if for any reason a property decides not to pay our referral commission, this will constitute a retraction of our free move/rebate offer.
Customer understands that if the apartment community does not pay the referral fee based on the guidelines listed above or for any other reason (i.e. - if you skip or get evicted from the community), then customer will be responsible for the cost of the move at the following rate:
Flat Rate Move Cost - $300.00
The moving company will begin a move only after all boxes are taped and sealed. All items of clothing must be properly boxed.
UMoveFree and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to boxed items.
The moving company reserves the right to reschedule moves to the next available time slot due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
It is highly recommended that you schedule your move early. Schedules are set based on first come; first serve, in the order of received client move requests.
All items must be removed from all furniture, including dressers, chests, wine racks, and entertainment centers.
UMoveFree and/or its agents will not be responsible for damages caused to furniture made with or of particleboard.
A waiver form must be signed before the move.
Customer acknowledges that UMoveFree will hire an independent contractor to perform the moving services for customer and that no partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between UMoveFree and the independent contractor is created.
Customer acknowledges that UMoveFree is not a moving company and is not required to carry insurance as proscribed by the Texas Department of Transportation.
The customer assumes the entire risk related to using UMoveFree to facilitate a free move. UMoveFree disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will UMoveFree be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, lost profit, costs and expenses including reasonable attorneys' fees (collectively "Losses"), resulting in any manner, directly or indirectly, from a free move arranged by UMoveFree for customer.
UMoveFree and its designated independent moving company reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
A client who has met the qualifications and is refused service will be compensated with a rebate offer instead of our free move offer.
