Located about 15 miles outside of downtown Houston is an area known as Champions, Texas. Champions is an interesting part of the city given the fact that it is not technically a city or a town; but at the same time the entire community is much more than just a neighborhood. Champions was originally planned out in the 1970s and as the years went on the development eventually began to form the area into what it is today. Champions is still very much a popular and centrally located neighborhood in the northern part of Houston and as such it is still drawing more and more residents every year to the neighborhood and other surrounding areas.
The Champions neighborhood is still considered to be one of the nicest and most upscale neighborhoods in Houston at this point which is obviously part of why the neighborhood is so popular. Many people that work in Houston wish to live outside of the city without being too far away and this is exactly where Champions show's its strength; the area is close enough to Houston that it is incredibly easy to commute every day but at the same time residents are able to feel like they are actually outside of the city. If you are looking for a great neighborhood that is outside of the city then you've found the perfect place because there really is nothing that can beat Champions.
Champions also offers some great amenities and features that many other residential neighborhoods do not have. Given the upscale designation given to the Champions area it is not surprising to find that there is a full golf course and country club located within the neighborhood. There are also dozens of shops and fine dining options in and around the Champions neighborhood area so the convenience of the neighborhood is quite popular as well. Overall Champions offers some great features and amenities that would be difficult to find in any other neighborhood in or around Houston. So if you really do want to work in Houston while living outside of the city you should definitely consider the Champions area; it is in the best possible location because it is close to everything while still being separated and the neighborhood is simply a well designed and very convenient place to live.
