Cedar Park Information

Looking for apartments in Cedar Park, TX?

Cedar Park is the perfect place for those looking for the luxury of a big city but the peacefulness of a quiet community. Located just 20 minutes from the Texas capital Austin, Cedar Park was named one of the "10 Best Towns for Families" in 2007 by Family Circle magazine. Families here can enjoy the rolling beauty of Texas Hill Country, as well as the diverse culture of Austin.

Cedar Park prides itself not only on its family community, but the education it provides its children as well. As of 2009, twenty-one of the twenty-nine Leander District campuses achieved either "Recognized" or "Exemplary" status and the district as a whole has achieved a 94.7% graduation rate.

Those graduating from this district have a multitude of local college campuses to choose from when continuing their education: Austin Community College, Southwestern University, St. Edward's University, and, of course, the University of Texas at Austin, just to name a few.

Those moving to the area will be able to enjoy not only the attractions Austin has to offer, but those the city of Cedar Park has to offer as well. Recently opened in 2009, Cedar Park is now the proud home of the Cedar Park Center, a sports and entertainment arena that can hold up to 8,200 people. The arena has been used for hockey games, boxing matches, music concerts, touring shows, as well as banquets and seminars.

Cave Days is another popular attraction of Cedar Park. Williamson County, in which the Cedar Park resides, has over 750 known caves. On Cave Day, residents can come out and explore some of the caves the Texas Cave Conservancy makes open to the public.
