University Village

University Village offers apartment living options for sophomores, juniors and seniors at the University of Texas at Dallas. Students reserve one bedroom in one- or multi-bedroom units; some limited family housing is available as well.

In addition to the standard range, oven and fridge, the well-equipped kitchens in this student housing feature dishwashers, icemakers and garbage disposals, and sometimes microwaves. There’s plush carpeting in living areas, and easy-to-clean vinyl flooring in kitchens and bathrooms. Each home has the conveniences of central heat and air, wireless internet, and streaming television.

Many of the benefits of University Village are outside each apartment’s walls, though. Buildings offer study centers, meeting rooms and lounges to make it easy to get work done; peer advisors to help face hurdles; and safety features such as campus police patrol, lockout service and emergency call stations. Just as importantly, the community has ample facilities to help students stay healthy and active, including swimming pools, courts for volleyball, tennis, and basketball, and bike racks and repair stations. Picnic areas and outdoor grills provide places to socialize and entertain. And onsite maintenance staff help take care of the details that allow students to focus on the important things.
